WHAT AN INCREDIBLE YEAR!

 Following an incredible 12 months, we celebrate the Sixth Anniversary of the auspicious return of the Queen of Hearts to us and the Sixth Birthday of Tajikestan.com on  July 29.  Unforgettable!

 July 29, 2005 started with the excitement of our precious Diva’s “freedom” from the claws of ruthless nobodies and the promise of her concerts throughout the year, but mixed with apprehension.

 The apprehension was not whether our Googoosh could deliver magnificent performances but whether she will be left free!  We, at Tajikestan.com stood behind her like a mountain with unwavering love and devotion..  a mountain that spread globally as  millions of you devoted fans joined us with your unconditional love and support for Our Diva.   We all stood together united and strong like a range of mountains made of pure love and appreciation for our unparalleled Superstar.  In return, she showed us her own love and appreciation as well; not just by words but by delivering absolutely splendid performances, one after another, to the delight of us all.

 What was so heartwarming for us to see was the pure joy and happiness radiating her beautiful face as she appeared on the stage every single time.  Like a songbird she flew through our minds and souls spreading that joy!

 We brought to you the September 17^th magnificent performance of our Googoosh, which she started by saying “Didn’t I tell you we’d be together again?”  On this historic day the beautiful and meaningful Manifest album was released which was everything we had reported it to be.

 We brought to you moment-by-moment of excitement of each and every concert so that millions of you incredible fans who were unable to witness them in person could share them with us.  And, you responded with your letters, poems, essays and arts which we never failed to acknowledge.  Your continued support and encouragement of our work in bringing you all that is “Googoosh” and her glorious splendor is deeply appreciated and touching.

 The unforgettable July 29, 2000, will remain a date to be celebrated with joy and amazement.  Every year, on that date, I watch the video of that concert and, without fail, every time I get goose bumps and teary eyed as I re-live those moments and take in all the emotions -- the excitement and the joy in our Diva’s beautiful face appreciating those incredulous moments!

And to you, my beloved Googoosh, I say:  Thank you for your kind words which you so generously wrote on the picture that you autographed for me.  Thank you for being who you are; a Grand Diva.   The dictionary defines “a grand face” as:  Magnificent; a dignified and noble appearance …… that bespeaks suffering but not defeat.
